We integrate improved family livelihoods and literacy, working with groups rather than individuals and encouraging VSLA activities to demonstrate an immediate reason for learning.

Our training in a livelihood and instruction in literacy and numeracy begin simultaneously, with the content of the literacy derived from or influenced by the livelihood. The curriculum covers; family learning, group organisation, basic financial literacy, agro enterprise and food security.

These help the families improve their livelihoods as well as ensure sustainability of started activities.
